Hours: 8:00am to 4:30pm

Primary responsibilities and requirements:

The position requires the use of multiple skill sets. You are a professional driver, product handler, customer service agent and all-in-one. Some of your core responsibilities include:

1.    The safe operation of your vehicle, according to DOT regulations and company policy.
2.    NY geographic awareness and good with directions
3.    Be able to lift 70 lbs. Proper and safe handling of material handling equipment. (Hand Trucks, Pallet Jacks, etc.)
4.    The delivery of purchased products in a timely fashion.
5.    Identifying and handling the needs or additional concerns of our customers while you are at their place of business.
6.    At times collection and secure handling of the customer’s payments.
7.    The proper completion of all paperwork assigned with the delivery/pick up of products in your care.

1. Maintain a clean and valid drivers licence
2. Safely operate your vehicle following all DOT regulations and Company Policy.
3. Vehicle Pre & Post trip inspections, reporting any deficiency to the supervisor ASAP.


1. Make delivery of the customers designated area. If there is a change in the delivery area or procedure for a specific account, please note the change on your driver’s recap report and hand it in when you return to the shop.
2. Check the product in with customer to insure all products are received as ordered. If there are any discrepancies with the order or the invoice, you must call customer service immediately to report the situation.
3. Once the order has been reconciled with the customer, have them sign the invoice. You will countersign in the “driver” signature area of the invoice.

Customer Service
1. Drivers are expected to be courteous at all times when dealing with customers and/or   any of their employees.
2. Always accommodate a customer’s request when on site. If the request seems to be unreasonable, accommodate the customer anyway, and report your concern back to the management team for assessment.

Finishing the day
1. Insure all route paperwork is properly completed and hand in at the end of the route.
(Drivers Sheet, Merchandise Accountability Sheet, Merchandise Return Sheet “Pick-up Slip”, Truck recap Report)
2. Vehicle Inspection log are completed and any deficiencies are reported to supervisor.
